Commission is paid on the 1st of each month for all active clients in the previous month. Minimum payout is $50 USD or equivalent in Bitcoin. Payments are made via BTCPay Server — Bitcoin/Lightning only, no banks, no intermediaries.
Every partner receives a unique referral link. When a user clicks your link, a 90-day cookie is set. If they sign up and become a paying client within 90 days — and often well after — the referral is permanently attributed to you for the lifetime of their subscription.
Absolutely. Many of our Accountant partners use Ledgersys themselves to manage their own Bitcoin finances, while also referring clients. You can hold both a paid subscription and a partner account simultaneously.
For Referral and Accountant partners — no. There is no minimum. Even a single referral earns you commission every month for as long as they subscribe. Strategic partners require an estimated minimum of 50 referrals per month due to the custom commercial terms involved.
Accountant and Strategic partners can offer referred clients a discounted first month — helping with conversion. Referral partners do not have this option by default, but it can be discussed on a case-by-case basis after your first 10 referrals.
The Accountant tier is for tax professionals who have an existing client base and professional background in tax or accounting. It carries a higher commission rate (25% vs 20%), includes a discounted first month for clients, and priority support. The Referral tier is for anyone with a Bitcoin-interested audience — no professional qualifications required.
All Ledgersys payouts are via BTCPay Server. You can choose to receive your commission in Bitcoin/Lightning. No banks. No intermediaries. No fees deducted by Ledgersys.
Your commission automatically adjusts to their new plan. If they upgrade, your commission increases. If they downgrade, your commission decreases. You earn on every payment, forever, regardless of plan changes.
